You're Wasting Your Marketing Efforts |

You see, I only read email twice-a-day. And because I have been working on putting together the mailbag function for the IMRC, I see 100 times the crap mail that many people do. In fact, I have begun to find out just how much junk marketing there is in the world.
If you are like me, you would be cleaning out several hundred email marketing messages a day. What I mean by this is: take today for instance...when it came time for me to look at my inbox and wade through what arrived there were over 200 emails just in the mailbox I use for my Mailbag testing. These emails are from people working their lists. And if you are like me you wouldn't believe the crap people send out.

If you really want to succeed, you will quickly get yourself off of the lists that promote this bull$*1#. The only success you will have is succeeding in parting with your money. NEVER think for a minute that this crap will get you anywhere, because it won't. Instead, look at what these poor excuses for marketers are doing and see how long they really are around. Odds are if they are around for the long haul and the things they are teaching don't make you feel like you need to take a shower then you can probably trust them...but you still need to proceed with caution.
I believe it is possible to measure the true success of a marketer by the number of times they utilize their list to generate income. The name of the game is definitely volume but the measure of success of a marketer is not in the volume of emails that they produce. Instead its the volume of positive responses to their message that is the payoff. A marketer that pings their list twice a year with a product that has real intrinsic value is the marketer that is truly successful. Marketers that constantly ping their lists day-in and day-out only annoy their potential customers. So much so that at some point their customers quit listening. Their message becomes white noise. If you have ever listened to white noise you will know exactly what I mean.
And unfortunately, those marketers who make that white noise drown out a large number of prospects who are out ther listening for a message from those of us who really have something to offer.
Enough ranting on my part...hopefully you understand what I am trying to get across here. Basically, quit spewing your verbal vomit. If you don't have something to say as a marketer, shut up until you do. And when you do, get to the point quickly.
Just in case you need a hint...for most of your prospects and customers, the only thing they are interested in is ME ME ME!
